Frequently asked questions

Can the whole family eat the food you suggest?

Yes, definitely. We don’t use any special diet foods – it’s all sound, healthy, uncomplicated food that is easy to cook for the whole family. You will get advice from your nutritionist about how to think around your children’s food.

How much time should I spend on exercise if I want to become a member?

You can expect to exercise at least twice a week, with sessions lasting 45-60 minutes. Depending on your requirements and wishes, you may want more sessions, but we won’t compromise on recovery, which is necessary to achieve good results.

How tailor-made will the plans be?

You will always work with at least one coach, or two if you choose our full concept with an Exercise & Diet membership. Your coaches will always plan exercise and diet based on your requirements, opportunities, food preferences and goals.

Can I get help just with exercise?

Yes, you can! However, our philosophy is that diet and exercise are linked, and both are necessary for great results. We always recommend that you choose both exercise and diet as a package. You can also start with our full concept Exercise & Diet, and later renew only the part you need more support with. If you feel that you want to look after your diet on your own, we offer membership options that focus only on exercise.

Can my partner and I join together? How does that work?

Social support is important, and – to a very large extent – we are influenced by our home environment. Working towards a common goal together with your partner will make things a lot easier for both of you! Register to join on the same day, email us at support@mammafitness.se and tell us that you want to join together, and we will make sure that you get the same coaches and a plan tailored to both of you.

Can I use my health and wellbeing allowance with you?

That’s absolutely fine! We cooperate with both Actiway and ePassi. This is how you use Actiway with us:

Book the membership you want and pay by card.

  1. Email a copy of your ID to support@mammafitness.se and tell us what sum of money you want us to deduct from Actiway.
  2. When we have registered your transaction, we will reimburse the equivalent amount to your card.

This is how you use ePassi with us:

  1. Book the membership you want and pay by card.
  2. Withdraw the sum you want via the ePassi app.
  3. Be careful to check it’s the right company, Trainimal Woman, before you complete the transaction.
  4. Email a screenshot of your transaction to support@mammafitness.se.
  5. When we have registered your transaction, we will reimburse the equivalent amount to your card. If you need a receipt for your employer, you can use the purchase confirmation that you get by email when you buy your subscription as a receipt.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, you can choose to pay monthly or pay the full amount as a lump sum.

Can I become a member even if I haven’t had a child?

Yes. Trainimal Woman’s philosophy about diet and exercise, and the methodology with individually tailored plans with personal coaching, can be tailored to anyone. Our trainers always have specific training in fitness for mothers, but they do, of course, have broad expertise and can coach anyone. Men are also warmly welcome and achieve very good results with us.

I have IBS – can I become a member?

If you suspect that you have IBS, contact your GP for an investigation and possible diagnosis.

IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) is not really a specific bowel disease but a term that covers different problems related to the stomach and the bowels. It is still unclear what causes these problems. Symptoms such as stomach ache, constipation and/or diarrhoea, gases and a swollen stomach are common. There is no general treatment or universal advice that helps with IBS, as everyone has very different problems and symptoms. You have to use trial and error to find out what works best for you.

If your symptoms are mild, you may experience considerable improvement as to changing your eating habits by WHAT, WHEN and HOW you eat. You can, for example, eat food that causes less gas, if that is your main problem. If you suffer from constipation and/or diarrhoea, you can eat food that has a more or less laxative effect. If you experience stomach ache from lactose, you can try eating fewer products containing lactose or choosing lactose-free products. We can help you with all of these things at Trainimal Woman.

For the treatment of IBS, a FODMAP diet is recommended. This is a food-based treatment, which requires investigation and treatment by a FODMAP-trained dietitian, and that is beyond what we are able to offer at Trainimal Woman. If you are interested in food-based treatment according to FODMAP, you need to consult your GP.

If an investigation has already been carried out and you have been given food-based treatment according to FODMAP, as with all other food allergies and/or intolerances, you need to check that the recipes don’t contain ingredients that don’t agree with you, and use our tools to replace the things you can’t eat.

What equipment do I need to exercise at home?

For exercise at home to be as efficient as possible, we recommend that you have access to the following pieces of equipment:
